Art Gallery of New South Wales
The work
Last week, I visited the Art Gallery of New South Whales in Sydney. This museum is located near the Sydney Opera House and the Royal Botanic Garden. From the moment I entered I knew that this would be an unforgettable experience. There were a lot of interesting paintings, but by the moment that I entered to the art gallery, one artistic fenomenous work took my attention. I am talking about a painting painted by Tom Roberts.
This painting represent the Australian workers. This painting took my atenttion principally because I really like it the way that the artist used the collouring and the lighting to create a natural effect. Also, another point that I really like it is the detailing, which makes the painting way more attractive.
Also, this paintings tramsmits how people use to lived workin at the construction site, working in dificult conditions to take care of their family by making money no matter what it takes. This art work is a great representation of the working social class, something that unfertunatelly will never change.
